....Daddy will play...with his VO equipment. As in, he'll be working on vo stuff and doing auditions. Yesterday (August 24, 2022) was the first day of school for my 2 kids. Let me remind you that they haven't been to in-person school since March of 2020 due to the pandemic. Here's some takeaways from that day.
- I cried the morning before they even left the house. Moments of sadness would pop up as I went about the day in a quiet house.
- The QUIET. It is SOOOO quiet in the house without an 11 year old and 7 year old banging around or yelling/squealing, etc. And the most notable:
- I got to do voiceover work stuff (auditions, editing videos, Zoom meeting with other voice actors, etc.) in my studio for pretty much the whole day. IT WAS SO AWESOME!
This is what I've been waiting for since I got laid off from my radio job in 2020. And now, it's here. Hopefully, knock on wood, this continues and there's no new surprises or pandemics to kick me in the professional cajones! Wish me luck! Moose
